Its an event where Fo Guang Shan can thank all who helped volunteered with food and entertainment. Clean Up Australia Day: Cruickshank Park, Yarraville: 7/3 Sun: 9:00am-12:00pm

Each year, there are hundreds of thousands of Australians who gets involve in Clean up Australia Day to inspire and assist communities to clean up the environment by collecting and removing rubbish. ‘To date, Clean Up Australia Day participants have collected over 200,000 tonnes of rubbish – that’s 4.7 million household wheelie bins!’
For most people, a Sunday morning would be a perfect excuse to sleep in, but BLIA and YAD Melbourne will be organising a group of volunteers who are eager and to participate in 'Clean Up Australia Day 2010'. This non-profit community event is run every year by a non-profit organisation, 'Clean Up Australia'
'Clean Up Australia Day' event is undoubtedly a precious opportunity for all of us to build a strong foundation so we can look forward to the upcoming activities in 2010. Also, it will be a historical moment from which we can draw inspirations from and to reveal the spirit of BLIA and YAD Melbourne.
